Cottages Accommodation at Cawder Hall, Skipton, UK

Whilst retaining their old world charm and exposed beams, each cottage is well appointed and features pine furniture and modern appliances. The kitchen areas each have a gas cooker, (except the Hay Loft, which has an electric cooker and Granary which has a double hot plate) fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and a good selection of quality cutlery, crockery and utensils.

The accommodation is set out with three cottages - BOSKIN - MISTAL - STABLE  in a cobbled courtyard facing south, so they get the benefit of our beautiful sunsets and make an ideal place for barbecues.

One cottage is detached - SMITHY - with easterly views getting the sunrises, whilst two other cottages - BARN LOFT and GRANARY - overlook the adjacent fields with sheep and cows. The remaining small cottage - HAY LOFT-  is in an elevated position which gives superb views over the Aire valley.

Most cottages are suitable for disabled guests, being on one level  and having easy vehicular access. The Smithy  is Grade 3 in the National Accessibility Scheme.

Picnic area

There is a small laundry with washers and a tumble dryer, or let any washing blow on the lines outside. This drying-area is not in the garden. Guests may sit at leisure in the enclosed garden where barbecue facilities are at their disposal. We have a slide and swings for the children and there is plenty of room for ball games in the field. Water comes from  our own borehole, which produces beautiful and crystal clear, natural water.

Electricity, gas, bed-linen and towels are all included in the tariff, as are cots (including linen) and highchairs for our younger guests. There is a pay-phone and fax facilities are also available on request.

UNFORTUNATELY  WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE  DOGS.
